Organizing my Drawer with 3D Printing
Spend a few hundred hours organising your drawer so that you can be more productive? Vivaldi users will understand why.

@Pesala Definitely something I want to do once I set up a workshop.
Have seen several different iterations of similar concepts from other channels as well, but this one does have a nice aesthetic. It is nice to have holders for specific items, but some general purpose sections always have their utility.
Would probably want to incorporate the grid positioning systems used in other designs to allow removal of parts without too much chaos.

@nomadic Since I don't have a 3D printer or cash to burn, I will have to resort to taking everything out, throwing away the junk, then putting the sometimes used stuff back in.

@Pesala Yeah, I currently don't have an FDM 3D printer either. I have a small resin printer, so I would probably become allergic to resin if I had to do that much printing with it
A good reliable FDM 3D printer is truly an addictive thing to own. The shear number of little brackets and connectors you can make are invaluable if you like to tinker with things. Also great for prototyping things before committing to the design in a more expensive material or time intensive process.
You can get cheapish printers for under $300 USD, but to get nice results and reliability, you have to make modifying and adjusting 3D printers one of your hobbies.
After dealing with some annoying printers in high school, I think that probably isn't the best for most people. The $800 to $1000ish USD with the likes of Prusa i3 MK4 (just released, but older versions are great) or Bamboo Labs X1 Carbon are major improvements in usability.
Loved the Prusa i3 MK2S printer kit my roommate and I shared in college. Helped me prototype a CNC milling project before spending about an entire week creating all the toolpaths and actually milling the thing.
The price does make it less approachable, but the utility of being able to repair things and solve all the small annoyances in your life definitely makes it worth it.

@nomadic I picked up by drawers from the side of the road, complete with sliding supports. I made some handles out of scraps, and fixed them up with a few nails and a spot of glue.
