The BattleBots refresh season 6 tournament is starting tomorrow. Don't know if anyone else follows it, but figured I would post a bracket of my predictions.
I definitely didn't put too much analysis into it, and I might show a little favoritism toward Copperhead, but figured I ought to post it somewhere in case there are other fans here. Everyone seems to think I am wrong about Uppercut vs. HUGE, but I actually think HUGE can win.
Bracket
The show can get a bit tedious with all the announcing, chanting, and buildup to the fights, and I wish they showed more behind the scenes engineery type content, but it is still good fun.
I supplement my desires for better design based content by watching the bot builders on YouTube (part of the reason why I like Copperhead).
The show and associated bot builders have some great content if you are engineeringly inclined, so as long as you aren't too worried about the reactions of a post singularity future murderous robot, it is a fun show to watch

@nomadic The UK version, Robot Wars was quite popular at one time. I don't know if it is still running.
-
@pesala Don't think it is currently running, but a few bots/teams from Robot Wars have competed in BattleBots.
I have been meaning to watch older Robot Wars and BattleBots, but since my main interest is in the accompanying YouTube videos, the older stuff has less appeal for me.
