Import bookmark button crashes the browser. BUG
Hi, yes, as written in the blogpost, and a comment from me earlier on this topic it's a known issue, to work around this issue you will need to have more than 1 profile on your other browser(s) to be able to import.
-
What about "open new page" mouse gesture? It is not rightclick and down any more!
-
Edit: Reinstalled. Still no joy.
Reinstalling hardly can fix anything.
Try instead to rename, temporarily, the profile folder

a) randomly happened to me that Address Bar "hangs" => no reaction to Enter key
a2) Maybe Addressbar "hang" is connected with focus problem.
After problems with Addressbar i got extra focus problem in GMail (eg. chat edit box had been losing focus after each pressing of Enter key)b) It's possible to hang Thubnails loading queue process
And then it is impossible to clear queue…c) Thumbnail queue counter label looks like it is 2 separate labels - (1 bold + 1normal)
it's possible to make it behave improper by moving cursor - looks like "label switching watchdog" has unhandled exception
d) Thumbnail generator is working randomly

Hi, yes, crash when importing is a known issue as written in the blogpost, one work-around that you can do is to have two profiles instead of one from where you are importing, that should work.

No, I do it often. (I mean deleting the cache files manually, trough a file manager)
Be sure that all the vivaldi processes are killed before doing it.

I get the same thing. When I try to clear cache, I get 2 messages - one from Windows which offers to debug the process. The other From Vivaldi: "Whoa, Vivaldi has crashed" with options to Restart or Cancel.
I think it has something to do with Vivaldi's history page. The same crash happens on startup. The only way I can get Vivaldi to reopen is to attempt debugging in the Windows error message popup, then cancel without debugging. Finally, I click Restart on the Vivaldi error popup. Hope it gets fixed in the latest weekly snapshot.
