Vivaldi doesn't start in a maximized window.
-
Using latest x64 snapshot on latest Win 10 Pro. I always use Vivaldi in a maximized Window. For about 2 or 3 version a bug appeared that Vivaldi doesn't start in a fully maximized window (ofc when I previously closed it it was maximized by me).
It starts like this: As you can see the button to maximize window is active, so the window isn't fully maximized

@daerragh A known issue. Restore, then maximise again.

Thanks. If it's known I'll just wait for a fix. Topic can be closed.

I hope this get's fixed soon.

@maggew-com Starts maximized here.

The Window is always maximised for me, and the Restore Window icon is always shown. However, sometimes the space above tabs is not removed.
Quick Fix: Press F11 twice.

This issue is appearing again. Mine is starting fully randomly. Tested on two computers. Sometimes started fully maximized with Restore icon, sometimes not fully maximized, but taking whole screen with Maximize icon.

It's just that little nag of a thing because when it's not really maximized, I have that sliver of top padding that prevents me from using the corner of my screen resolution to select top of tabs. Instead, I just click outside of the Vivaldi Browser.
Thanks for the F11 shortcut hotkey tip @Pesala. I usually just WIN + Up Arrow but F11 is really nice too!
