Java Script?

Is there a way to enable js
-
@fubuhead Click on the icon in the URL field on the address bar. Javascript is enabled by default.
-
When entering "vivaldi://chrome/settings/content" I get the message that the website can not be reached.
Is there a new address for this funciton.
I generally want to switch off Java Script. -
@albinoni Try
chrome://settings/content/javascript
-
Perfect. Thank you!
One additional question:
Is it possible to export all the whitelist-websites where Java Script is allowed from one Vivaldi (Notebook) to another Vivaldi (Desktop)? -
@albinoni Probably. I think you would have to find the file where these settings are stored and copy it over to the profile on your other device.

@gwen-dragon said in Java Script?:
I found setting in JSON file Preferences.
"javascript": {},
Is this related with my question?
Sorry, I don't understand what this means. -
@albinoni to follow up, the
Preferences
file is an abomination, containing user settings, browser state, extension data and at leastonetwo databases (vivaldi://media-engagement
,vivaldi://site-engagement
).To transfer the javascript settings, you would need to use a format-abiding editor, which leaves other parts untouched or do the merging by hand (you likely will need backups).
