Hey, gamers! I created this topic about ESO (as you already know). The game became pay to play model, so you dont have to pay monthly fees (only for upcoming DLCs etc.). How do you feel about it? Will you give ESO a try? I already ordered the game, and tomorrow i can give some hindsights. More experienced player could give some advices to starting players (like me) etc.

I had the game on it's release, Collector edition. I was sooooo disapointed. At the time, it was almost impossible to play First Person…
I have been returning a week ago, they made a 20Gb patch.
The game is now what it should have been on it's release : Finally finished.
Give it a try, it's awesome.

I bought the Standard edition on June 19th and have been having a blast since then. Best MMORPG I've played in my life. Before it used to be World of Wracraft, but Blizzard botched it so bad, that this garbage doesn't even deserve to bear the name World of Warcraft anymore.
I'm playing on the European PC megaserver, my account is "deyirn17" and my character's name is "Deyirn Skysand", if someone is playing and looking for a in-game buddy, I'm here.

I know this thread is ancient by now, but I wanted to chime in. I started playing ESO last year when I bought it on the Christmas sale. I really love the visual aspect of the game, and it definitely has the immersive feel of the ES series, but I absolutely hate the combat in the game. I like to snipe with a Bow and then run in to finish off my enemies, but you can't switch weapons in this game! How stupid is that! They have never fixed this, so it feels almost unplayable. I had to stop playing because it got too frustrating. I do miss running around exploring though.

You can switch weapons in combat on level 15. Almost every DD spec has bow on backbar
