alt text
Below, especially for you, practice material - that is, what I would like to ask someone who gives images with alternative text "alt text"

Sir, denken Sie daran, den veröffentlichten Bildern einen alternativen Text (Beschreibung) hinzuzufügen.
Señor, recuerde agregar texto alternativo (descripción) a las imágenes publicadas.
Sir, remember to add alternative text (description) to published images.@Catweazle said in meme hall of fame:

Me too.

@Ryszard Ich verstehe nur Bahnhof!
-
I also only understand a fuck what you mean, I can add an explanatory alt text to the image in Mastodon, but not here in the forum and I don't see any from you either. If you see it, a screenshot of it, please.
Tampoco entiendo una mierda, puedo agregar un texto alternativo explicativo a la imagen en Mastodon, pero aquí en el foro no y tampoco veo ninguno tuyo. Si lo ves, una captura de pantalla, por favor..

You mean like this?
![This is a nice Nothing](http://example.org/nothing.jpg)
or
[![This is a nice Nothing](http://example.org/nothing.jpg)](http://example.org/article-on-a-nothing.jpg)
Having a alt attribute to see what a image means, that is good for people with bad sight, screenreaders or over slow internet connection.

@Catweazle
You did not publish the images as @DoctorG writes and now they differ unpleasantly from others.
Stay calm and move slowly - after all, this is an entertainment thread. Why heavy words? -
Oh and lets get back to posting actual memes and not cancelling each other because we fail to use alt.text in a funny image thread ok.
-
That is, let's finish the matter - why you MUST enter the alternative text. -
@Ryszard, OK, but anyway it dosn't help when you put the alt-text in Polish in the international Forum, also not in these tables you put.

A very common phrase from the moderation in this forum to some newbies "In English, please, in the international forum"
The rest of us also want to laugh in this thread, not just those who speak Polish. -
I saw the language fork but let it for a while, also after seeing the other responses and being this is on ChitChat.
But sure,
For one or a couple of pics, one could spend the time to find tools to translate it but not constantly.Since you already pointed, not necessary to repeat it. (i guess)

So Keep it on English
To Polish the Topic -
A meme shouldn't even need to be read, you should be able to understand it at a glance.
If you have to translate it, it's already meaningless.
-
@barbudo2005 Such:
? -
@Ryszard, yes, maybe the image is a good hilarious Meme, but the alt-text don't show the joke that the image may have.

A picture is worth 1000 words

I don't see any problem here. Just use Google Lens.
It also helps us to language learning.I learned 7 languages.

You just need to put the matter right. Why am I on this forum? Because I want to contact people who are of a different nationality than me, live in other countries, live in a different culture. But we have something in common - we use the same browser. It is convenient to use one language, but sometimes it is logical to use non-English - to emphasize the specificity of what you are writing about. -
I hope that other readers will also associate the text in the image "One of the last coal-powered sheep. Most sheep are now electric" with "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?"
