You may go into Vivaldi's setting, into the Privacy section.
Then find the ad-block section and hit "manage sources", which from there you may hit the little + and a pop up above will appears.
You may then enter any or all of these magnificent URL, to grab the quantum level ads list.

I'll try it.
Had 5 errors adding it--
After seen the file, it seemed me it's like a Hosts file. Right?
Just added mine to V and had been accepted without errors.
Tested, and blocked ads.So,
Why I'm taking about that?Your file is 1 entry per line.
My Hosts is 9 entries per line. This generates a small file size and as per I've read, the file is even faster to be read.
Not sure about the counting entries yet:
My Hosts is 10Mb with 440.00 +/- entries [with comments] as Windows Hosts file, while on V looks like 96.000 valid entries. But seen is blocking Ads and no error received even browsing.
Said that,
If you would like to test it, you can download HostsMan which automates the process.Add your AdBlock file data to a Hosts file and click on Edit > Rearrange Hosts...
-
@Zalex108 oh, i made an AI to create the list, and it screamed at me ( not literally ) that multi-table would double the file sizeโฆ
Hm
-
HostsMan allow 9 entries max, but didn't searched about if there is a bigger limit or 9 is best to be managed.
Despite IA screaming xD using the HostsMan it would be easily tested before consider to make any changes at the IA engine.
I've seen it has 1.5Milion entries
-
I've seen it has 1.5Milion entries
Indeed, but as I cutted this one down, the one on my server has 5m entries!
I haven't even started the full optimization process, but wanted to at least be certain it worksโฆ

I use uMatrix... what is this strange word
ad
? -
5M!!
:smiling_face_with_open_mouth_smiling_eyes:
Fastest browsing ever!! :smiling_face_with_open_mouth_smiling_eyes: :smiling_face_with_open_mouth_smiling_eyes:
HostsMan is quite easy for testing, even has non install and Server version.
-
@Zalex108 But the question is: Do you see ads on YouTube?

@Zalex108 But the question is: Do you see ads on YouTube?
I'm seeing with yours more than with mine. ยฟ?
On mine just one at Home, left side.
None on videos. With yours, on Home, videos and on top right side.
I've disabled all other lists while testing.
I'll check it close later, something would be wrong with cookies maybe. -
@Zalex108 hm, interesting indeed!
The major struggle I had to deal with is unfortunately YouTube's adsโฆ
The AI picked up most cyphers, but it is constantly changing โฆ

?Tested years ago but...
uBlock is enough here xD
-
I'll recheck in a new Clean Profile.
The HostsFile has entries from various Sources, I'll share them if necessary.

@Zalex108
Fortunately I used easylist as main training groundโฆ -

...yet i do not need to fart about with the hopelessly Sisyphean task of managing constantly superseded block lists. A brief steep initial uM learning curve provides consequent years of labour-free deterrence & avoidance. IMO that's an unbeatable Cost-Benefit ratio.

Yes,
Good to learn and avoid dependency.
How big is the DataBase?
uBlock here is around 20/30Mb with defaults and custom entries and lists. -

Easier:+/- 10Mb less.
I'll test during the day. -
@Zalex108 Oh, I do not have a single WIndows PC, sorry! :smiling_face_with_open_mouth_cold_sweat:

Um, if you ask me that question then you have misunderstood the primary strength of uMatrix. It seems like maybe you're working with a false paradigm wrt uM.
Whilst it can / does uses lists, they are but a subset of its armoury. IMO the unassailable arrow in uM's quiver is its dynamic rules, set by the user, on a micro-granular level, via a powerful graphical UI. This provides a peerless defence against all dodgy websites, & dodgy elements on otherwise respectable websites.
Possibly you need to read up on the copious notes provided by its Dev? They're extremely educational & explanatory.
