Just stumbled across this.
Boy, Did I Get a Wrong Number 1966 Starring Bob Hope Elke Sommer
https://youtu.be/qc8yG0IACfMIt is shockingly bad... shyt acting, crap plot, infuriatingly sexist, horribly cliched.
After only a few minutes i was about to angrily close the tab, but then i found a way to make it tolerable... speed set to 2X. Now the suite of ridiculousness is complete.
Gaaaah. Can't stand it anymore... still 36' to go, but i'm outta here.

Got this in my recommended on Youtube

Am really enjoying current new Netflix short series Queen's Gambit.
It seems that the answer to the venerable old question of the red pill or the blue pill is... the green capsule.

Just finished https://criticalpopcorn.com/2017/03/05/indie-film-review-the-darkest-dawn/ The Darkest Dawn on NF. What a crock. All these Blair Witch hand-held camera pointless-yelling budget indie film sensibilities have really become a drag.
Furthermore... why is it that the central unyielding trope of SciFi alien movies is that they're gonna invade us & end us with violent malice aplenty? Why can't humans imagine an alternative reality wherein they visit, sit down with us for a cuppa & scones, then compare favourite knitting patterns?
Sheesh.
-
@Steffie Cause humans see aliens as only being humans from outer space, so greedy, warlike, overbearing (and worst of all, probably windows users ).
-
@hlehyaric said in What are you watching right now?:
probably windows users
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Oh the horror, the inhumanity.
-
@Steffie I knew you'd be exquisitely delighted to learn aliens use windowsβ¦
-
@hlehyaric Next you'll further shock me by mentioning they also use doors.
-
-
@Steffie And even stairs.

A particular guilty pleasure of mine are those old sci-fi & horror movies from the 30's to the 60's that are so gobsmackingly cringingly awful that they're fabulous. Here's my current crop... & indeed they're simply superb in their Coefficients of Craptitude.

PS - very nice work @TbGbe , very nice. -
@Steffie Surely you meant to include Plan 9 from Outer Space
-
@TbGbe No i didn't, i've seen that already [ditto Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, The Blob, The Thing et al] -- all wonderful specimens of the genre of course, but irrelevant to my post. The list above is my current list of stuff i found within the past couple of days, & which i am working my way thru watching.
After my post i finished the first one. OMZ, so bad, so very very bad.

I recently watched Infinity Train - It's a cartoonβ about a hitchhikers-guide-esque bipolar robot, a talking corgi, and the main character is a girl programmer trying to find her way. It thoroughly dashed my expectations.
β Not a "kids cartoon", as evidenced by the fact the network cancelled it for contain themes that were "too mature"
