So, we're at the party together now.
BTW. @Para-Noid - reading your backstory reminded me of one song and now it's stuck in my head, although I think that the song is about some sort of social anxiety. Still, that's also "Paranoid"...
-
@hlehyaric No probs. I sometimes have an issue with copy and paste.

@Quinca71 @Ayespy Check this Google Translate https://translate.google.com/?source=gtx_c#auto/en/balançava
edit: If it's all the same I don't speak Portuguese. I can bare speak English and I live in the USA.
Interesting side note, there is a difference between UK English and USA English. It's all in the dialect and some differences
in spelling of some words. -

nightmare
But I'm glad it didn't cause paranoia

the film "The birds" from Hitchcock
So, I guess you've gotta be more careful when you choose which movies to watch?
-
@quinca71 To whichever you find the most pleasing/comfortable to you, I think... Me, for example, I don't watch horror movies simply because I don't enjoy them. I also avoid dramas, operas (and few others) for the same reason...
-
@quinca71 I don't know how it is in others but in my native language there is a saying that goes something like: "Wherever there are two people, there are three opinions". Exchanging suggestions is not bad, it's just that everyone is different. We enjoy different things although it's not bad to try something new from time to time...

@Steffie "Likes tidiness and orderliness" could quite possibly be OCD. It seems we might have a lot of nuts on the forums.
Wow.
I readily acknowledge that an aspiration to forestall entropy is thermodynamically naive & hence pragmatically pointless over the longer term, but it hadn't hitherto occuured to me before that ipso facto it might also denote my pecan inclinations.

Huh?
-
@para-noid I can translate that from engineerese to English if you'd like...
-
@Quinca71 @Ayespy I know what she means. I was having a little fun. My only problem is her reference to "pecans".
If she wants pecans I have a pecan tree in my back yard where some squirrels have taken up residence. My dog lives to chase those cute little critters.@Steffie If you want pecans? Come and get them.
-
@para-noid Someone said OCD people were "nuts." So...

Before the age of 10 I remember I started to play Diablo 2, and it was 1st time I had to name my character. It was barbarian. I named him for my 1st name - Kirill. Nothing special :).
On the age of 10 I was going to connect to multiplayer game Counter-Strike, and I thought of slightly more unique nickname. I quickly chose nickname KS-10. 10 is for my age, KS are my initials, dash means just dash :).
So this nick looks OK, right? Huh. Look at "ks10" nickname of my post. I couldn't just choose "KS-10", Vivaldi.net not allowed me dash, so I needed to choose some other nick. Well, this is not a problem.But.
I actually often stuck with different naming restrictions when I register on internet resources:
Dashes, underscores & special characters prohibitions.
Less than 5 characters nicknames sometimes are prohibited.
Sometimes my nickname is already taken by someone else.
Sometimes digits are not allowed.
Combinations of restrictions above, etc.So I have more than 10 different nicknames of logins heh.
Anyway I love my simple nickname and I will not change it to other. -
@ks10 Quite jealous. I'd like to stay stuck to the age of 10, just like you.
-
@Ornorm Judging by your avatar, I thought you did...
-
@pafflick Really good observation!
-
I think you simply didn't abandon the origin of the grandeur you have today. It did't finish, the traces which may commune with your today persist at a near ideal symbiosis. Your avatar permits the contemplation of what you had been, integrating it to what you are now, keeping alive what must continue alive and do not may die.
-
@JoaBravo Thank you so much my dear JoaBravo. I should change the color of the skin of my avatar for a moment in order to be more in line with the feeling that flushed my face
I do try to keep what I was alive. Should we all make this true... and even better. -
