Humble Pi by Matt Parker

A nice collection of mathematical and computer programming related mistakes. Some are tragic and some are funny. It's a good read, and though some gets can be a bit wordy, I reckon it would be a good fit for most audiences even if they are not especially mathematically minded.

Things to make and do in the fourth dimension by Matt Parker

This book is a lot more maths-heavy than the previous one, but if you can handle that its a nice overview of lots of different maths topics, and has some instructions for building neat little things like a flexagon and intersecting cubes.
