A hard question, but right now I would have to say that it is: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The freedom to find your own solution is amazing. I would say that it is truly a "game that puts you in control".

Favorite game? Tough question...

I enjoyed the new DOOM (2016) quite a lot. Beating it again on Nightmare! difficulty with Razer devices would be a hell of a ride (literally ).
