What browser do you use and why?
-
Presto of course. What else? (I guess I don´t have to explain why?)
At the moment I still see no reason to change? As long as the web cooperates I will stick with it.
Maybe Facebook & Co. with their endless-sides are working better with other candidates - but I don´t need or use them. So that is not important for me.
Blink (all versions) I use just to stay up to date and can give support to other users. Not really for daily work, because no one can beat my beloved Opera-Presto-All-rounder. -
Opera 12.15. I will have to change at some point as the web becomes unusable, but for now it still works and I can't find a browser I prefer.
The change to Opium left me utterly dismayed. It is any company's right to choose what products to sell, but it is clear that the demographic Opera now wish to serve doesn't include me.
So, still using Presto

Zajrzałem tu bo jest pani pierwszą osobą którą znam z My Opera. Trudno mi się tu poruszać bo nie znam języka.
W sprawie przeglądarek jestem zupełnym laikiem ,co mi ustawili to używam .
Przeprasza jeżeli zakłóciłem spokój w rzeczowej dyskusji. -

I used Opera, soley, since around 2000 2001. Rarely used anything else.
They abandoned linux early this year. Well… there may have been a minor update in the spring. 12.16 anyways. I still have it and use it occasionally but am moving to other browsers.I use Firefox mostly. Great security/privacy with the right extensions. Setup for specific pages.
I have Chromium but find it awkward. Will try it on a website that gives Firefox trouble.
Qupzilla is awesome for surfing. Very fast. I have it setup for a specific set of pages.
Midori and Slimboat are also installed. Find them guite streamlined as well with distinct features.
Each browser has its strong points.
-
Opera 12 and now also FF which resembles classic Opera more than Chromium-based Opera 15+
-
With my recent move to Linux I am still with Opera 12.16.
It is still also on my last Windows box. I occasionally have a look at Opera' Development branch, but have yet found no reason to switch.
Chrome is a featureless memory hog.
FireFox (SeaMonkey) is just soooo clunky (compared to Opera).
Midori works OK but I need more than it currently offers.I have done a lot browser hopping over the last few months and have not found Any Blepping Thing that can match Opera 12's functionality. Others are probably correct 11.64 was the pinnacle of Opera's development.

yo tambien odio Chrome, no me gusta, yo en mi uso Opera 18 y Firefox. que asco cada vez va la cosa peor.
-
I use Opera Developer + Opera Mail. My most favorite browser ever was Opera (Presto), especially versions 7-10. But I decided, if I will have to move to another browser anyway, I would rather do it quickly. So I'm on Opera-Chrome now.
-
I used to use Opera 12.16 up to about a month or so ago. When I had to replace my old machine with a new one, I knew that my days with the Opera browser were done. The new versions of Opera are not worth the bother. So, right now Firefox does the heavy lifting on my new machine. Internet Exploder does the stuff Microsoft can't seem to do otherwise and that's about it.
Presently learning to live with the idiosyncrasies of Windows 8.1 and its touchy habits, at least Firefox offers familiar habits of its own.
-
I tend to use Chromium more often than Firefox on my Ubuntu setup.
Chromium for speed, Firefox for everything else.
-
I just use a jellybean phone, with Opera classic primarily.
The update for G.Chrome is 74Mb, Lol. I currently hesitate to have an app over 700Kb, so there's not much hope for Mountain View there. Getting silly amounts of cache aswell - it'd be quicker and easier for phones to barely cache anything like in the old days. -
Some ancient build of Opera 12 for my favorite newspapers and such, and a stripped-down Chromium for everything else. I have never used the Frankenstein — sorry, Franken_steen_
-
I use opera 11.64 and firefox with lot of addons to mimic opera classic.
-
Opium got dumped at 1.9 (true numbering system) and Opera 12 USB is on a flash drive somewhere.
I have been using Cyberfox 26 (Firefox 64bit branch) since July. I am also testing Aurora 28, Holly 29 and Australis 29. They are all installed as portable on a SanDisk Extreme USB 3.0 32GB flash drive. Easy to move from home desktop to personal laptop to work laptop. All regularly backed up to home desktop. It has taken almost 50 extensions to get them to Opera 12's level. The flash drive is assigned Drive X: on all computers. All versions are set to read the same QuickNote files.

-Stack Tabs
-Mouse Gestures
-etc etcand the configuration complete.
in the smartphone:

and
native Browser Android. -
After being a hard line Opera user for years I am now using Chromium on Ubuntu, still using Opera mobile though for now.
-
Opera fan since 1997, now freezed to 12.16 in own Windows and use it for both browsing and mails. Firefox at work for compatibility reasons. Mobile browser is proudly my brand new Jolla's Sailfish browser.
For linux it depends which window manager is in use. I prefer Opera there though. Never installed those higher Opera versions and gradually now seeking other options. Sincerelly hope that the Otter browser (alpha now) will evolve to what the developers are trying to create. -
Opera 12.16, what else?!
Even if missing Unite that was great it remain the only real good browser in the world.
