HTML 5 browser games

I have been following Illyriad for almost two years. Interesting concept - much more laid-back than most. They are working on a 3D-version, but I suppose development is more complicated than they expected from the beginning. In any case, it works well in all HTML5-capable browsers although it seems faster in Crome.

I would really like to see this go further and browser to be able to take full advantage of hardware acceleration , I know Blizzard was doing some test with html5 and IE for hardware acceleration

My main objective is so all gamer's can have OS freedom of choice and not be forced to run windows to play their favorite games (wine works for mmo , but for fps it sucks). -
