@tool50, by default the Chrome Store, alternatively you can also download the .crx file or userscript to a folder (don't delete it!) and drag the file to the Vivaldi extension page in developer mode (switch in the upper right corner) to install it, but in this case you must update it by hand.

@tool50, yes, but somewhat different from others, it's compatible with the extensions from the Chrome Store, but not all extensions, most related to the own UI and features, maybe won't work as espected or can cause conflicts.
If you browse the Chrome Store, you'll see a lot of extensions which are redundant in Vivaldi. Not a problem with those for security and privacy, you can also use translation tools like the Linguist extension without problems, but eg. those for tab management or things like this, you have to test it. -
