To the people who know their way around Sweden:
Do you also watch the "Elk Migration" on TV?
I'm sure it's also available on the net.
-
This was taken at Salem Willows Park (Salem, Massachusetts, U.S.) during the winter last year. It was taken the day before a blizzard was due and the skies were extremely gray.
The photo was taken with a Holga 120N camera using long-expired Foma Fomapan 100 black-and-white film. I call it "Benches".

It's this one but no idea if you can watch it where you are:
https://www.svtplay.se/video/KB3qnzW/den-stora-algvandringenRelated - here's some reindeer doing absolutely nothing for 8 hours straight...

Sadly it's geoblocked by SVT. It is however lawful to use a vpn to watch.
As for the picture I originally posted, I found another taken by a photographer by the name of Gunnar Aneer, who posted
It's on Ramsö harbor on Stockholm's Skärgård as I originally posted

@Tetsuosumo Oh, I didn't really mean for this to be such a back-and-forth
But I would think that keywords such as Koster, Västkusten, Strömstad, Västra Götaland and Bohuslän would be enough to convince you where this is
-
@ingolftopf Yeah, those photos were from a winter several years ago.
Not too many currently flowering trees near me (or trees in general), but the apricot trees did blossom last week. There is still the occasional below freezing night time temperatures, so might be a low fruit year. Still have plenty from last year, so no worries from me.

Do you also watch the "Elk Migration" on TV?Interesting, that would be called a moose around here, while an elk is more like a larger variety of deer. Think I had heard about that naming difference before, but had almost entirely forgotten about it until now.
Don't get too many of your variety of elk, but they do occasionally wander South. There was at least one earlier this year.

@Tetsuosumo
I wanna try the yacht life. -
Central New Mexico, USA
-
@Ayespy Just need someone from Las Cruces and we will have New Mexico fully covered.
-
@nomadic I dunno. don't we need Gallup and Tucumcari?
-
@nomadic I'd take pics of "my" town, but I'm 17 Mi (25 minutes on mountain roads) from the nearest one
-
@Ayespy
Sometimes mountains are simply in the way.
-
@ingolftopf I'll take the mountains over the town any day.
-
@Ayespy I do have photos of Shiprock, Capulin Volcano, Carlsbad Caverns, and Gila Forest, but I guess those aren't "my town".
-
@shifte I hear that. Quite expensive owning and maintaining a yacht tough. It would however be awesome to charter one for a few hours say just before sundown on a nice warm summer day
