Good alternative to Youtube other than rumble?

Good News: Youtube is going to support the 2020 U.S. election! Just like Google support Ad blocker from last year...
https://blog.youtube/news-and-events/supporting-the-2020-us-electionCan't believe we are reaching 1984 much sooner than expected, Google & Youtube finally decided to openly influencing election of president for every democratic country after all legacy media begun their "support" a few weeks ago. So much for Orwellian conspiracy... LOL
So this time I'm looking for alternative streaming site similar to Youtube, without the blatant bias & censorship. Some suggested https://rumble.com but I don't like it because it only offer HD videos, it's too bandwidth hungry for watching daily news... Do you know any good alternative to Youtube? Preferably also offer low resolution videos like 144p, 240p, or 480p.
Thanks for support & please be civilize if you gonna discuss some kinda political stuff here. -
@dude99 , easy answer, a lot

There's pratically NOTHING of my interest on that rumble.com, I just made 3 searches and 2 led to 0 results and 1 led to 3 non related results. Pratically useless, not an alternative to YT. Nobody actually uses it.
-
@iAN-CooG I thought that too. They said it's very new, so we can't really complain about it until more YT content creator decided to backup their video in alt tech streaming site.

https://alternativeto.net/software/youtube/Thanks buddy. Did you use any of 'em? Which one you think is most usable one?
-
@dude99 , before I used invidio.us, a front-end YT, but it is already discontinued, now I use a video search engine that has a similar result, anonymizing the view in the results and the vision

@Catweazle invidio.us is ok, but I think similar YT front-end service won't do much good when Google & Youtube begin removing videos & shutting down channels.

begin removing
Not a new thing, they're doing it since years, you haven't ever noticed? If a video gets enough complaints they remove it, when a channel gets multiple videos removed, after a while they just remove and ban the channel and that's it.
Especially on copyright strikes, they have to do it, or they will face legal issues. -
Hi,
Most of the censored people on Youtube, has been duplicating their vids also on Bitchute, Lbry and some other sites.
Superocho.org for Spanish language.Parler and Gab seems a new uncensored Social Net and News.
-
@Zalex108 , I don't like Bitchute, most vids are hatespeech and polítical extreme right. Others don't have much users and only few vids.. For this I use a privacy video search engine, like SeekMash, with this I have all videos of any videosite, not only YouTube,
https://seekmash.com/video/x7x8msz/how-to-install-vivaldi-browser-on-windows-10/
Another possibility for share videos (upload or URL) are this two services.
https://streamja.com
https://streamable.com -
@iAN-CooG read the link in OP, it's no longer limited to just DMCA; now YT will do the same to any content related to 2020 election fraud which deem "misleading" according to their godlike fact-checkers from oversea (China, India, & Pakistan). A lot of YTber & news channel fear YT is going the twitter path & scrambling in panic mode... LOL
-
I've testing it currently.
I don't like even the Bitchute design, but I do not search for new vids there, just watch there what's censored on common media platforms.
The most I rely for "News" is Telegram and the many Groups that exists.
-
@Catweazle How do u find videos from streamja & streamable?
-
@Zalex108 , it is not because of the platform itself, be it BitChute or Telegramm, which obviously respect the privacy of users a lot, but are used precisely for this reason by many extremist groups. For this reason, you have to go to less known or decentralized platforms, better self-hosted, if there is a server available, to be the owner of your own channel.
I do not use Whatsapp or Telegram on my mobile, I prefer the old school message with my friends and family or call them directly. -
@dude99 , this are not platforms for communities or for search videos, they are only for upload and sharing your vids, like Imgur or other imagesharer, but for videos. If you register, you can make albums..
With this you can avoid to upload and share in YT. -
@Catweazle Oh, I'm not much of a content creator, just a "consumer". LOL
-
@dude99 , I am too
, but in ocasions I use a Screencast with ShareX and I don`t like upload it to YT, but using this Videosharer.
As consumer I use Seekmash search engine. -

@Zalex108 , the same with the Dark Web, originally implemented, together with the TOR Browser, by the US defense and the CIA, initially used for internal communications of them and also by other governmental organizations, research centers, universities, etc. But being a network outside the normal network , for naturally it has attracted many "not so official" and legal groups.

Didn't knew the origins, just the current dark behaviours.

@Zalex108 , what was said. Although the aforementioned official sites continue to use it as a channel of communication and internal publication, but the vast majority of content is illegal and even aberrant.
