List source says it was updated 17:51 GMT:

      [Adblock Plus 2.0]
      ! Checksum: daDagaf8Ph1RJytU/Pg7Mg
      ! Version: 202407311751
! Title: RU, UA, UZ, KZ

As the RU Adlist is not hosted by Vivaldi, someone with russian language knowledge should contact the author of blocklist.

      Contact Author at https://forums.lanik.us/viewforum.php?f=102

If we have luck, tomorrow it may be fixed by blocklist author.

      Снимок экрана 2024-07-31 214204.png

I don't know how and why, I just used to watch videos on the YouTube and then it happened.

First of all I've tried to clear all cookies, personal settings and all this stuff. But nothing changed.

Then I've tried to change my network, use VPN. The same, nothing.

Then I've reinstalled Vivaldi and... Nothing. I'm using portable version, and it is principal for me.

Websites on another browsers are working well. Also, sorry for my English, if there is some mistakes, because I'm not native English speaker.

@DoubleCool Same problem here - just started this evening - only way to fix it is to disable tracker blocking and just use ad blocking until Vivaldi comes up with a fix, or maybe it's an issue with the tracker blacklists, I don't know....

EDIT: I got it the wrong way round, you want tracking blocker only not ad blocker.

@DoubleCool I got it the wrong way round, but you know what I mean!

EDIT: As others have said, disable the Russian (RU Adlist) ad blocking source until the authors fix it.

I found a solution that helped me personally. you need to disable "disable surveillance and advertising for google.com "
I hope the translator translated it correctly

Oh look, I guess the RU adlist maintainers realized their little typo that broke all sites... 😂

      https://github.com/easylist/ruadlist/commit/4a1938a36bad4905c8e68cae94d77db0b2416426

EDIT: File is updated: 31 Jul 2024 21:00 UTC
      https://easylist-downloads.adblockplus.org/ruadlist.txt

Then update the blocklist in Vivaldi by disabling/enabling it.

For completeness, here's the offending commit 6 hours ago:
      https://github.com/easylist/ruadlist/commit/e81b27685e0fc5e0ac66a488770e1c8891789f82

Hot Tip: When using adblockers, before making a big fuss and blaming the browser, check your blocklists.
And have patience - issues are usually fixed quickly by list maintainers.

@Adam1331 Something is blocking the site's stylesheets (CSS). Any blocking extensions?

Note that "something" could be Chromium itself if the site is secure (uses HTTPS) while the stylesheets don't. I have one site like this - since it is not a public site I went to Site Settings and told the browser to allow insecure content, but if it is a public site and has such an issue you should ask them to fix it - but more likely it is an extension.l

@Pathduck Oh, the RU adlist maintainers had an 'woops' moment! 😂 Thanks for the info. I'll update my blocklist right away.

Disabling the inbuilt blocker fixes everything. But RU AdList is added to ublock and everything works.

Could be that some rule in blocklist is broken and uBlock just ignores it but Vivaldi is struggling with it. I hope the author of the blocklist can tell more.

      RU adlist works now

      Update it
      Open Settings → Privacy
In Section for Ad and Tracker Blocker, below list of block lists click "Manage Sources"
      Untick RU Adlist
      Tick RU Adlist
      And the list is updated
