      @doctorg: Are you really saying no tester has a 4k display? That is difficult to accept.

      I'll send a report later today.

      It's not really a bug if someone changed something in the UI and you don't like it. I have lots of CSS stuff to hide or change things I don't like - and they can't add options for every user's personal preference, that's why we have mods.

      Forgot to ask; is that 1px line in the bottom something that a CSS hack could remove?

      If it's part of the UI, it can be modded.
      You need to inspect the UI and figure out where the line comes from.

      I guess internal testers and dev team and some helpers from forum do have.

      @gregor: Yeah, not been able to reproduce it, could you try in a clean install and see if the issue still occurs etc?

      What clean install? If you mean clean profile (renaming AppData\Local\Vivaldi folder), it seems there is no problem, but it's hard to tell when it occurs, maybe later it would.
      I wanted to try to find the problem by gradually deleting things from AppData\Local\Vivaldi\User Data and after deleting few files I lost all open tabs and being logged in to all websites 😕 Now I probably won't be able to fix it because I didn't make a copy of the entire User Data folder 😕

      If you try to use Show Password, it doesn't reveal it after the PIN is introduced.
      You can Copy it though.

      The mail issue is not solved: not all the new mails are listed in the "unread" folder, although they appear and counted as unread in the "received" folder. So there is always a difference in count numbers. I suspect that mails from "mailing lists" is the problem, for example mails from pinterest are not appearing in the "unread" folder. I also have to say that this issue appeared recently (a couple of snapshots ago)

      Hm, I never notice a counter difference between unread and received but I don't get mails from Printerest.
      If nobody report this to the bug tracker it will never be fixed.

      Cheers, mib

      Well, I did NOT call it a bug, not even once. It was mib2berlin who mentioned that and suggested I send a report.

      And, the problem/annoyance is not in the stable branch. Something was changed, either accidentally or deliberately. However, the vertical scrollbar isn't affected the same way, so it might be that this change was not deliberate.. or they forgot to change the right edge too.

      Ok, thanks for letting me know, saves my time. 🙂 Gotta ask though, is it acknowledged as a bug and is just waiting to be fixed? (got a bit confused about the "unfixed" word, sorry)

      EDIT: And yeah, forgot to ask what's the VB number? Would be easier to try to notice it IF a fix comes some day (especially if I manage to make a CSS hack in the meantime). Thanks.

      Found the culprit (in common.css file) :

      #browser:not(.tabs-bottom) footer#footer {
        background: var(--colorBg);
        color: var(--colorFg);
        border-top: 1px solid var(--colorBorder);

      And the CSS hack is:

      /* Remove 1px border from the bottom of the browser window. */
      #footer { border-top: 0px !important; }

      🎉 🙂

      Sorry foe my unclear wording, i am not a native english speaker, i mean: a confirmed bug, waiting to be assigned to a dev for a fix.

      EDIT: And yeah, forgot to ask what's the VB number? Would be easier to try to notice it

      Look for a bug number in changelogs of next Vivaldi Stables and Snapshots
      VB-107988 - Confirmed, no dev assigned.
