Seeing a strange issue with the accent color on tabs in the tab bar. Just started happening with this snapshot. Here is a screenshot...
https://i.imgur.com/kOM9vEF.png (this is with transparent background tabs ON)

Essentially, instead of the accent color highlighting the active tab only, it highlights all tabs directly underneath the active tab also.
-
@theorist Probably your multi-level tab bar CSS mod?
As always when testing Snapshots, reproduce in a clean profile, then you might have a bug.
-
@pathduck: Ahh, yeah, its been so long I had forgotten that I had that implemented that mod lol
You're most certainly correct.
-
@theorist Well at least you had the decency to actually post an image of the "strange issue" (unlike most users who claim something's broken) so it was pretty clear where the problem was
-
Thanks for the update, autoupdate works flawlessly!
-
@pathduck: To that idea, how does one insert an image into a message here? I occasionally want to show a problem I'm having, but have to resort to an external link like @theorist. Yet, other times I see other users insert images in their messages.

@wpcoe When you go to write a comment, see the icons along the top of the comment box. The one at the far right (looks like a portrait-oriented image with a dog ear) will allow you to browse to an image on your hard drive and add it.
-
@wpcoe
Hi, you can use the small iconor drag and drop.
Cheers, mib
-
I couldn't help but notice this funny spelling mistake in the changelog:
[Address Field] Domain result unexpectedly centered in droop-down (VB-107857)
It is a sad drop down
-
@wpcoe What I usually do is just paste in image directly into the editor. It works fine when you have the image on the clipboard.
Or like others have said, use one of the icons.
Though, make sure to resize the image first to a reasonable size, I usually size it to 400px width. Huge images (>2MB I believe) are blocked, large images are frowned upon by moderators because they break the forum for other users.

@Gif2D Autoupdate worked after a while.
-
strg + p still not working.
except with this trick under windows: vivaldi.exe --disable-features=PrintCompositorLPAC
-
@nofashion Depends on Windows installation. I never saw this with Vivaldi again on my Windwos 11 23H2. But Chromium 126 always faisl with print preview.
It is a known Chromium issue and only Chromium dev team can fix it. After such fix it could work in Vvialdi. -
Strange problem:
some extensions refuse to hide, for example "web site blocker"
https://imgur.com/a/9M1fNi1
or "right click enable" (same behavior) -
-
@Gif2D Yes, that is the summer breeze and holidays of most of team - no Snapshot yet.
Stay cool -
@Gregor How large is the History file? How many entries?
-
With this Snapshot, pressing modifier keys (shift, command, alt) + any key while Dev Tools is open & focused causes the browser to close. Tested & verified on three separate MacBooks (Apple M1 MacBook Pro, Sonoma 14.5).
For instance, trying to type
$
(to access the last selected element) into the Dev Tools console will close the browser.
Aside: I’ve been trying to report this for the last two weeks, but haven’t been able to log in to vivaldi.net due to server errors, though the login screen doesn’t display any error message when submitting the form; I had to inspect network panel to see 400 errors. Today, I wasn’t able to access the login form at all due to a server 500 error. I was finally able to log in today from my iPhone on Safari using the same credentials.

It would be great if you could send the dev team crash dumps so that they can understand what is triggering the crashes. Here's more info about how to send crash dump files: https://help.vivaldi.com/article/reporting-crashes-on-macos/

The issue is also here https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/99462/cmd-c-in-dev-tools-closes-everything and there are no crash logs. It just shuts down.
