Hi, because my report is still not confirmed.
      VB-107736
      Vivaldi start with first panel

You can try to change the sequence of the panels, restart and change back to your default sequence.

      Cheers, mib

@ugly: This update fixed things totally for me. For the last dozens of updates, my History list only showed current date entries, unless I waited 4+ minutes for the rest to load. Now, upon pressing <ctrl +h>, Vivaldi instantly displays all history entries. My history file isn't as big as yours, only 383 MB, so maybe that's why mine is faster?

Probably a lot easier to deal with a smaller file size.

After I access the history, mine will take a couple minutes with one core at 100% for a while to populate. The browser will feel a little sluggish during that time, but not grind to a halt. And, I think most importantly, if I don't bother accessing the history at all, then it doesn't seem to spend any time populating the history or taking up a core. So if I don't check my history, I don't notice any performance impact.

Bitwarden is a very good "freemium open-source password management service".
      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitwarden
But I don't think they explicitly recommend entering this data into the vault.

Nonsense. The very wiki article you linked to mentions that there are specific features for card details, why would they do that and then not suggest to enter that data into the vault? Ridiculous claim. That their service is safe for passwords, 2FA data, secure notes, security keys, etc., but card data is not safe in their service?

@mib2berlin: No I haven't enabled auto read. I don't remember exactly (i.e. from what release) when the problem occurred but I observed it in the previous release.

      Found a weird bug.

      1. Open settings window
      2. Go to "privacy and security".
      3. Push "show saved cookies" button.
      4. Notice how every cookie can be opened/removed using mouse.
      5. Minimize the Vivaldi main window (tested when only 1 browsing window open).
      6. Back in the settings window, scroll down or up the saved cookies list.

= After scrolling the list, none of the cookies can be opened or removed (there's even no close button per cookie line anymore).

      1. Maximize/restore back the main Vivaldi window.

= The cookies can be opened and removed again.

So, when Vivaldi browsing window is minimized, the settings window is somehow affected by this.

Tested both latest stable and snapshot, in Linux.

Is anybody able to reproduce this? On latest stable & snapshot.

Hi, I tried to reproduce this but I cant, tested with the snapshot build on Opensuse Linux.
This is maybe a GPU/driver issue, do you use Wayland?
I am still on X, to many issues with Wayland and it is not supported for Vivaldi.
We need at least one other user can reproduce this before a bug report make sense.

      Cheers, mib

RE.: [Tabs] Tab Thumbnail appears as you select text elsewhere in the UI (VB-104719)

Thank you for fixing this; it may have been a minor bug but it was mighty annoying!

No, the sequence doesn’t matter, I have them rearranged, but the browser ALWAYS selects “Bookmarks” at startup.

Hm you are right, cant get it to work again now.
As usual, we have to wait for the team to tackle the bug.
It seems it does not bother many users, I had to report it myself and I cant confirm my own bug reports.

Seeing a strange issue with the accent color on tabs in the tab bar. Just started happening with this snapshot. Here is a screenshot...

https://i.imgur.com/kOM9vEF.png (this is with transparent background tabs ON)

https://i.imgur.com/5EHahwu.png (this is with transparent background tabs OFF)

Essentially, instead of the accent color highlighting the active tab only, it highlights all tabs directly underneath the active tab also.

@theorist Probably your multi-level tab bar CSS mod?

As always when testing Snapshots, reproduce in a clean profile, then you might have a bug.

@theorist Well at least you had the decency to actually post an image of the "strange issue" (unlike most users who claim something's broken) so it was pretty clear where the problem was 🙂 👍

@pathduck: To that idea, how does one insert an image into a message here? I occasionally want to show a problem I'm having, but have to resort to an external link like @theorist. Yet, other times I see other users insert images in their messages.

@wpcoe When you go to write a comment, see the icons along the top of the comment box. The one at the far right (looks like a portrait-oriented image with a dog ear) will allow you to browse to an image on your hard drive and add it.

I couldn't help but notice this funny spelling mistake in the changelog:

[Address Field] Domain result unexpectedly centered in droop-down (VB-107857)

It is a sad drop down 😀

@wpcoe What I usually do is just paste in image directly into the editor. It works fine when you have the image on the clipboard.

Or like others have said, use one of the icons.
      d1f24896-c712-4ed5-b3d4-61c913af71c1-image.png

Though, make sure to resize the image first to a reasonable size, I usually size it to 400px width. Huge images (>2MB I believe) are blocked, large images are frowned upon by moderators because they break the forum for other users.
