Site/link which returns an error message in Vivaldi, although it works fine in Chrome/Firefox
Hi All, I've been loving using Vivaldi for 'heavy' web research but am flummoxed by a problem I've started experiencing the last few days. If anyone can help me out I'd be really grateful. I'm trying to access one particular website, or return to saved bookmarks, and each time I get the following error message: Bad Request - Request Too Long HTTP Error 400. The size of the request headers is too long I thought it was a problem with the website but it works fine in Chrome and Firefox. The starting website is http://wetten.overheid.nl (this works sometimes, not always) and an example of a specific link I have bookmarked and for which I also get the error message is http://wetten.overheid.nl/BWBR0007606/2015-04-01/0?VergelijkMet=BWBR0007606%3Fg%3D2014-01-01. the latter takes a while to load, I thought perhaps that was it but it was working for the last last two weeks, it's only lately it's starting returning error messages. And the homepage of http://wetten.overheid.nl suddenly is not reachable on Vivaldi. I've been using these for the last coupe of weeks and the problem only started a few days ago, I haven't done any changes/updates, etc. Any help would be very welcome. Thanks, Vicki
Just going to both links work fine for me using Win 10 Pro (64bit):
Vivaldi 1.3.501.6 (64-bit)
Vivaldi 1.2.490.43 (32-bit)
Maybe you could try a test using a fresh profile?

If the site(s) load for you with no bookmarks/cookies/extensions - at least you have somewhere to start finding the problem.
Hi - thanks so much for the quick response. It did work, until I copied everything back in at which point it reverted to the original problem.
Could you tell me where I can just copy over my bookmarks and Start Page speed dial links from? Then I can just move those, and hopefully the problem is elsewhere.
Thanks so much,
Hi, copy the file "Bookmarks" in Default folder to the new profile.
It include all bookmarks and speed dials.
Thanks so much - I didn't see the file, was looking for a folder
All sorted, thanks so much for your help.
