How to Rearrange Speed Dial
-
Hi all. My friend told me that Vivaldi is the new old-Operas's devs browser, so I jumped into it and discovered that FINALLY someone made Speed Dial TABS (horizontal folders)!!!! Fantastic! So now we have two types of folders on the Speed dial which is great. Now I'm testing this browser but... Tell me how to rearrange thumbnails on the speed dial??? I can't figure how to add saved sites to a standard folder after adding them to the Speed Dial. Also I can't move them to a created horizontal folder. I can make a folder and then... what? Ho to move thumbnails there??? I've searched the web for help but didn't find any info. Please help.

Hi, iirc you cant drag and drop in speedial page directly but you can do it in the side panel.
Side panel switch is at left bottom.Cheers, mib

Thank You for the quick reply.
I've just tried to do it in the sidepanel.
So I'm unfolding the Speed Dial menu there but…
NO. No dragging and dropping on the folder or even crl+x / crl+v (or menu command for that) works.
I do it but nothing happens.
I can't even change the order. The blue line follows my mouse ponter but nothing happens when I release it. -
Hm, checked this a few minutes ago in Vivaldi 1.3.501.6.
Drag speedial bookmark in to speedial folder in side panel.
May it does not work in older versions.
You cant change order in panel but in speedial page.Cheers, mib

I was able to drag and drop speed dials to different folders in the bookmarks panel, and re-order the Speed Dial Tabs (folders) into a different order. The speed dial page updated immediately.

Just to confirm, it also works in Vivaldi 1.2.490.39 (32-bit) (Win 10).
Using drag and drop in the Bookmarks Side Panel:
I can move bookmarks within the Speed Dial folder.
I can move bookmarks from another folder into (and out of) the Speed Dial Folder. -
Your answers surprised me so first of al I've checked the verssion: 1.2.490.39 () (32-bit)
Then I tried to close and open the browser…
...yeah now it works. So thanks guys.
