@ornorm Let's move to Cleveland. Hope not to make anything wrong with T.
shuting down ..... -
My screen name is my name. I always know who I am when I come here.
-
@quinca71 You're right, it's «toujours»
-
I decided on mine because I have GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder). When I find myself in a really, really bad anxiety attack I literally get para-noid. It gets so bad clear thought becomes a thing of the past. I go bat-crap crazy. Really. When it gets better I sit down and have a good old fashioned belly laugh.

attn any mod: Feel free to delete the thread I started. There really is no need for it anymore. Or simply let it die of natural causes.
-
@para-noid No need to delete any threads IMO, although we could merge them, for the sake of tidiness. That is - if you want, of course. I would also like to hear from @Steffie if she would be willing to invite more guests into the house...
-
@pafflick Merge to your hearts content. The thread I started in not needed.

We can have two threads alike. No need to delete nor merge.
-
@pafflick Well i like tidiness & orderliness, so in that sense feel that combining the threads is "neater". Certainly though no data should be lost.
As for inviting more guests into the house, well YES absolutely. I'll make a big pot of soup, & whack on a bit of a stir fry, plus rustle up some cashews, artichokes, olives & cheeses for nibblies. I don't drink though, so anyone desirous of a tipple will need to bring along their own booze.
-
@hlehyaric Copy & paste issue.
Here is the sig on other forum -
@lamarca Don't get me wrong, I just replied to Quinca71 about the final «rs». I know there is no misspelling in your signature and I'm well aware it was a typo in your post.
-
So, we're at the party together now.
BTW. @Para-Noid - reading your backstory reminded me of one song and now it's stuck in my head, although I think that the song is about some sort of social anxiety. Still, that's also "Paranoid"...
-
@hlehyaric No probs. I sometimes have an issue with copy and paste.

@Quinca71 @Ayespy Check this Google Translate https://translate.google.com/?source=gtx_c#auto/en/balançava
edit: If it's all the same I don't speak Portuguese. I can bare speak English and I live in the USA.
Interesting side note, there is a difference between UK English and USA English. It's all in the dialect and some differences
in spelling of some words. -

But I'm glad it didn't cause paranoia

So, I guess you've gotta be more careful when you choose which movies to watch?
-
@quinca71 To whichever you find the most pleasing/comfortable to you, I think... Me, for example, I don't watch horror movies simply because I don't enjoy them. I also avoid dramas, operas (and few others) for the same reason...
-
@quinca71 I don't know how it is in others but in my native language there is a saying that goes something like: "Wherever there are two people, there are three opinions". Exchanging suggestions is not bad, it's just that everyone is different. We enjoy different things although it's not bad to try something new from time to time...

@Steffie "Likes tidiness and orderliness" could quite possibly be OCD. It seems we might have a lot of nuts on the forums.
Wow.
I readily acknowledge that an aspiration to forestall entropy is thermodynamically naive & hence pragmatically pointless over the longer term, but it hadn't hitherto occuured to me before that ipso facto it might also denote my pecan inclinations.

Huh?
