You Vivaldi guys say its a new Opera 12 but you are not introducing split Bookmarks ??? This long endless Bookmark window in Vivaldi is worse than Opera 12.. Bookmark Folders in the upper Bookmark area Folder content in for of single Bookmarks in the lower split area I am using Opera 37 with V7 Bookmarks extension, at least that is close to the old Opera 12 Attachments:

+1!
I really want this feature too! Can we make this happen?

I'm pretty sure that implied insults to the V Devs is not going to assist any aspiration here for this feature to arrive earlier than otherwise.
I agree .A lot of naive users adopt a demanding or condescending tone when making feature requests, forgetting entirely that this is a free browser in the early stages of development, and that there are thousands of other users who have different priorities.
It is currently about one year and four months since the first Technical Preview was released, and we are now testing Snapshot builds for version 1.3. For comparison, Opera 37 Final was released on 4th May 2016, the Developer Build is currently version 39, and Opera 15 Final was released over three years ago. As far as I can tell, although Opera 37 has a nice Bookmarks manager with different views, it does not have a split view Bookmarks Panel.
Fortunately, this forum allows users to edit their own posts without any time limit to remove CAPS LOCK or to reword posts and thread titles to tone down what looks like an impatient demand to a polite feature request.

and who cares ?
Do i have to use this unfinished pseudo Opera Browser while Opera 39 with VPN and and and is out there ?
Answer > No
if they cant implement one of the best features of Opera 9 - 12 then this is not my problem
But they should stop claiming that Vivaldi is something like Opera 12 / version 2.0 until its like Opera 12.xx
overall i think this whole vivaldi project is useless and unneeded meanwhile.
Free VPN in Opera 39 is just to mighty to compare it

no they just make happen whats not needed for this browser since months…..
seems they have no clue about true Opera 9 to 12 but claim Vivaldi is like it.
meh

I would also value this functionality, but i do not value the hostile aggressive critical tone of the OP, & i'm pretty sure that implied insults to the V Devs is not going to assist any aspiration here for this feature to arrive earlier than otherwise.
dont start crying please
if you think i am offensive then you are obviously pretty sensible…...
