https://help.vivaldi.com/desktop/tabs/session-management/Session management doesn't really help if the Sessions folder is so broken that Vivaldi won't start. That's my situation, so I've had to move away the whole 'Sessions' folder.
Is there any way to import an old session that isn't in the current (new) Sessions folder? Otherwise I've lost a 650+ tab session

@Gerodot1964 As far as I can tell, Tabs Session Manager can't import from Vivaldi session files. It would be useful for saving sessions/tabs, if Vivaldi would open with my previous session files -- but it won't.
It looks like I will have to just start again from a completely empty sessions. Which really sucks. At least Vivaldi seems to have preserved my history, so I can find a lot of stuff in there.
As a "power user" type browser, Vivaldi really should:
- Have "session auto-save" switched on by default.
- Never corrupt saved session files.
- Be able to import sessions from its own saved session files!

So I take it if you point out the obvious, as perhaps rimisen 48 did, your post gets deleted and you get banned? Which is what I would do if I was pedalling a substandard non-operational product?
I am running Windows 10 64 Bit, which is up to date, and if it would open, Vivaldi that would be up to date, downloaded a new version today as it won't open, after downloading, still won't open.
Have changed the .exe file to vivaldi1 doesn't work. Have turned off Bit Defender and Malware Bytes (if I get hacked, I will sue Vivaldi) Vivaldi doesn't work.
I won't be following any instructions from blind cult followers making me delete my session data, because, sorry, Developers should sort out their rubbish software, not me lose my work.
So, appreciate any real advice that works, that doesn't involve mentioned above. Once I get my work back, considering the number of times I have dealt with this steaming cow manure bull s t, it's probably time to stick to Brave, Opera, CCleaner, Firefox, Edge, Chrome, which, funnily enough, all work... So vivaldi, how do you like them apples, huh?

@rimisen48was banned for posting a spam link.No one is ever banned for complaining about Vivaldi. It is only when people stray into repeated violation of the Code of Conduct that people get banned for non-spam related reasons.
On any given thread, if you see a deleted post from a banned user, the reason was most likely spam.

Do you need help or want to rant?
I can understand anger about such data loss.Developers should sort out their rubbish software, not me lose my work.
May be Bit Defender or Malwarebytes is the rubbish stopping Vivaldi with injected libraries or forced Vivaldi process termination.

In the 'Sessions' folder, I deleted all files except Apps_* and Session_* files, then Open Vivaldi, all Workspaces preserved.
