@citronyx, apart from topics about Vivaldi, technical things, support or questions, there is also space for jokes, music, art, general topics, etc. in the corresponding subforums.
The only topics that are not wanted, for obvious reasons, are politics and religion, since there are people from many countries and different cultures on the forum, where these topics can cause unnecessary friction.

Not Vivaldi browser, but Vivaldi services - blogs, forum, Social, etc.

I don't think so.
Maybe using vivaldi services, but using vivaldi browser doesn't earn you reputation points.

Just daily access to the forum has no effect, in my opinion.

This involves having two or more devices with Vivaldi browser in each of them.

For those like me, who only use it in one device, the Vivaldi sync has no effect.

Not so, it makes an offline backup of much of your data, which you can then synchronise with another installation on your PC.

@Pesala this was referring to the sentence «They’ll have to participate in Forum discussions, interact with others on Vivaldi Social, share their browser themes, post on their blog and/or sync their browser data to collect “points”».

@FreeRaider I have many devices using vivaldi including mobile, but my reputation is zero.

@luisinserra2211 You must be logged in with your account and use Vivaldi's services (Forum, create a Blog, Social (Mastodon), Sync), to build up the Reputation level.

@luisinserra2211 That's correct. To gain reputation, one must be an active community member. Post in the forums, blog on the Vivaldi platform, use sync, participate in Vivaldi Social (Mastodon) etc.

@FreeRaider, some years ago mi old Laptop broke, loosing a lot of files. Buying a new Laptop > installing Vivaldi > logging in my sync account > in few seconds I had back all my data, bookmarks, passwords, notes and most of the settings. That is what Sync also is good for, it can be a lifesaving backup
