Videos on porn websites don't load

  • I'm dual booting Ubuntu 16.04/Mate and Windows 8.1 and I have Vivaldi installed on both OSes. Since Google has stopped supporting 32-bit Chrome for Linux, I've looked at other Chromium-based browsers that do support Linux. For me, Opera and Vivaldi stand out as viable replacements. But the deal breaker is porn. Neither of my Vivaldi installs [(nor Opera) on Windows and Ubuntu] will load videos on porn websites. Just for the record, I don't see any difference between Chrome on Windows and Chromium on Ubuntu (maybe that's because of sync). But I rather like Vivaldi's gui. Does Vivaldi's (and Opera's) refusal, as it were, to load porn a result a safe search mechanism? And, if so, how do I turn it off? Or has Vivaldi's (and Opera's) developers just flat out decided that they don't want their browsers playing porn (or, presumably, anything thing else they don't approve of)? Vivaldi is agnostic concerning web content. You're probably missing a plugin or something.

  • This scrip will help the to get the right HTML5 support even for *buntu and debian users.

You have to install the flash player as well for flash based websites.
