Ubutnu 16.04 Vivaldi not using system scroll direction
-
Vivaldi will not use inverted scroll direction even when gnome and other apps do. Is there any hidden settings i can activate or some setting i can tweak to make it use inverted scrolling.

see if that helps you: https://vivaldi.net/en-US/forum/vivaldi-browser-for-linux/10976-autoscroll-not-work

I don't know what the best solution is and I don't use the feature myself, but I believe the asker means so called natural scrolling, which refers to scrolling a window with two fingers on the touchpad or using a touch screen so that the "content sticks to the fingers". Imagine a paper on a table. When you pull it closer to you, you move your fingers "down" but "scroll up".
It's also possible to achieve it with X11 settings, without touching the desktop environment (Gnome) settings. For example, here's a thread discussing this.
