Windows trackpad gestures
-
(There's an old archived post about this with no replies.)
I started to use my Magic Trackpad 2 with Vivaldi on windows via mac-precision-touchpad. However, the two-finger swipe for history forward/backward does not work and there's no place to configure it.
Does anyone have any idea about a workaround? Is this just something that Vivaldi needs to explicitly add support for? Like the old post (from 2020) the gestures do work in Microsoft Edge.
Apologies if this is in the wrong forum.
thanks,

@boneskull The workaround I have been using is 3 finger swipes. Under the
Touchpad
section of Windows settings you can go toAdvanced gesture configuration
and set either the up and down or left and right swipes toForward navigation
andBackward navigation
. I set it to up and down to leave left and right for app switching. This also has the benefit of working in any program that would accept a mouse button forward or backward button press for navigation.
