U2F not Working
-
Hi, While I'm using Vivaldi I'm discovered that U2F not working! Fix it please? Thanks friends
-
I've got the same issue.
Google Chrome 50 and Firefox 46 (by using an add-on) are working properly.
-
Can you provide some more information about what is failing?

I've tested this as well, and the following behavior is exhibited:
Testing via Gmail since it has the built in U2F feature.
Workflow: Visit gmail.com, login with email/password. Get prompted for U2F key press.
Normally, the u2f key would begin flashing. However, it does not and pressing it yields no response.
Checking the console log shows nothing as well.My only guess is that something is missing or the hardware aspect of the u2f integration isn't exposed?

Same behavior at https://demo.yubico.com/u2f. I'm running Vivaldi 1.2.490.43 () (64-bit) under openSUSE 42.1.

Hello,
Exactly the same thing with fastmail.com and U2F feature. With Chromium, it's ok but Vivaldi-snapshot fails.
Workflow: Visit gmail.com, login with email/password. Get prompted for U2F key press.
Normally, the u2f key would begin flashing. However, it does not and pressing it yields no response.
Checking the console log shows nothing as well. -
@Gwen-Dragon:
U2F + Yubikey needs Chrome as in https://www.yubico.com/products/yubikey-hardware/yubikey4/#toggle-id-5
and https://www.yubico.com/faq/enable-u2f-linux/ and https://www.yubico.com/faq/version-chrome-browser-supports-key/ described.Yes but U2F + Yubikey work very well with Chromium and Vivaldi is a Chromium-based browser…

@Gwen-Dragon: Thanks for this info

Hi!
U2F is working (at least on fastmail.com) with the new Snapshot (1.5.604.4)
Thanks to Vivaldi Team! -
I was wondering if there are any updates on this. My company started forcing us to use our yubikeys for authenticating for all of our internal web apps and Vivaldi isn't working with u2f.
I just see an error message: "Your browser does not support U2F token authentication.Please use a U2F compatible browser."

As per December 2017, U2F Security keys (Yubikey in my case) seems to be working fine in Vivaldi 1.13.x., including on Fastmail.
(I have just informed Fastmail about that it also works with Vivaldibrowser, as their 2FA page with updated U2F info states a requirement on Google Chrome, claiming that no other browser does U2F properly. Ref. https://www.fastmail.com/help/account/2fa.html )
