Unread, Sent, and Trash categories are gone.
-
After this latest update, 6.1.3001.3 (Official Build) snapshot (64-bit) on Kubuntu 22.04, in the mail panel several listings have disappeared.
Unread, Sent, and Trash are no longer showing. Now, in All Messages, I can mark emails as deleted but they still show up in the list and I have no way to actually empty the trash. Closing the mail panel and reopening did not fix it, also closing Vivaldi and restarting did not fix it either. -
In settings, I turned off "Flags" in the display list and then the missing listings appeared. Weird.

I turn Flags back on and the missing categories did not disappear. Then I closed Vivaldi and restarted it and then they were gone again. Turning off flags fixed it again. I'll just leave it like this and see what happens.

@Sataylor56
Hi, this is a strange issue, enabling flags and restart Vivaldi does not remove the categories for me.
Please wait a bit if a user can reproduce it, then you can report it to the bug tracker.For information on how to report a bug, see this URL: https://vvld.in/how-to-report-bugs
Once that is done, please share the bug number (beginning with VB-). Thanks.
On the form, you can add your email address. Once submitted, you'll get a confirmation. You can reply to this with any logs or further info.Cheers, mib

I just upgraded to 6.1.3009.3 (Official Build) snapshot (64-bit)
and the problem still exists. I found that on start-up Vivaldi comes up with an abbreviated list in the mail panel but if I make any change in the Mail Panel Order and Visibility section under Settings->Mail, all the list items in the panel are restored. Making any further changes just produce the effects you would expect. It never seems to go back to the abbreviated list. -
On upgrade to 6.1.3023.3 the problem seems to be gone.
