Oh look a duck! Isn't he handsome!

Lazy third

@pathduck: It is a duck on a path. Like a path…duck or something? For some reason my mind went to this today.
P.S. Great to chat with you although a little sad it was only for a minute. Unfortunate day for me because I had other commitments with my son. Hopefully there will be another time. 😉

Thanks for fixing VB-90423.
-
Does this mean you've hit your 3000th build day since vivaldi started? congrats!
-
Juicy. Oh, VB-14668 too. But more happy for Workspace fixes. I might risk to update the RC.

8th just Ducky

VB-94893 fixed

I assume this 6.0 issue has been reported, where using the arrow keys to select a suggested item in the search box is...unpredictable. Instead of starting at the top and going down one by one as usual, it often starts at the second one but more often the last one. It's very odd.

Oh, VB-14668 too.
This is actually quite huge!
Although I'm not sure if it's supposed to open extensions in the middle of the screen? But I guess it's quite efficient to center it, instead of having it pop up top-right. Maybe related to:
[Extensions] Popup is displayed incorrectly when placed in the status bar (VB-96761)[Bookmarks] Simplify UI for Add Bookmark (VB-91681)
I like this, it looks good, and I like how it opens the dialog at once now. Saves me an extra Ctrl+D when I accidentally bookmark a page, which happens more often than you'd think...
[Crash][Developer Tools] if switching from docked to undocked window (VB-96734)
Good!
[Performance] Increase speed by hiding process identity (VB-96068)
Hmm, this is interesting, will have to be investigated
[Site compatibility] Make Chrome the default Client Hints Brand (VB-96837)
Sad, but I guess it had to happen
[Windows][Installer] Incorrect spacing under the install path (VB-96784)
Can we please, please pretty please (with sugar on top) have the option to choose install path for the All Users install back?
-
@Pathduck there are lot of goodies here and yes, using ducks with pullies helps
[Performance] Increase speed by hiding process identity (VB-96068)
I think is the fix for bad vendors (amd/logitech etc) that decrease performances when chrome.exe or edge.exe is not found.
[Site compatibility] Make Chrome the default Client Hints Brand (VB-96837)
Already set to the enemy at the first signals of sniffing, sadly. Good for new users.
Saves me an extra Ctrl+D when I accidentally bookmark a page, which happens more often than you'd think...
I get used on the "new" bookmarking behavior, so not too much mistakes here; guess it will be better with refined UI too.

I like this, it looks good, and I like how it opens the dialog at once now.well, it was about time (years) giving it some more height than the petty 5 lines it used to have. It has 6 now...
If only there 'd be another way of (auto)collapsing the folders additionally, hitting
\
has also become really, really tiresome over the years. -
Hello! this update comes with a bug in the tabs, now there is a spacing at the top of them preventing correct clicking and the menu option to remove the space does not change, I am using win 11, can anyone confirm the same bug as well?

@Ruarí Better than a lame duck.

I just reported VB-97013:
"Remove tab spacing in max. windows" does not work, causes misaligned icon -
-
@kamizuru: Can confirm.
Edit: fixable with CSS. Ugly, but works for the time being:
#header { min-height: 30px !important; }
(For those not familiar, place the code above into a text file with
.css
extension, save it to a folder of your choosing, then point to that folder fromSettings -> Appearance -> Custom UI Modifications
.)
