We're always waiting for Opera
Not since Vivaldi 3.7...

Vivaldi has no rivals. Not one of those other browsers has a built-in email client.
Still testing Mail.
EDIT: Two hours later, so far so good... The client does, however, steal much of the responsiveness from the browser while adjusting Gmail flags and such...I guess that's to be expected. -
Showing the version numbers is a neat addition to the Status bar. Unfortunately, one of its properties has lost its function:
@hlehyaric said in Improve showing the browser version in the status bar...:The coloured icon is a visual clue to which version someone is using: red=stable, black=snapshot. It doesn't make sense to change that.
Also the "V" icon somewhat follows the theme highlight color...now.
(Anyone remember when this changed?) -

what do you mean?
oh, you edited.

@ybjrepnfr Sorry 'bout that: I'm easily distracted.

How are you getting Vivaldi to show the version number? I don't see it here ..
-
@g_bartsch Open settings and type biscuit or a (dog_face) emoji in the search field to enable:
Show Browser Version on Status Bar -
@Pesala Ya beat me to it...
(The emoji will work as well as biscuit.)
-
Thank you @Pesala and @OakdaleFTL .. Vivaldi is full of gems!
What does Upgrade Bookmarks every Startup mean?
-
@g_bartsch https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/44899/upgrade-bookmarks-every-startup/2
apparently, debug option to test the addition of bookmarks -
Thanks! This is a nice jump straight to six!

In the Menu „Windows“: „Other Windows and Tabs“ and „Other Workspaces and Tabs“—even if I open another Window with Tabs I can’t see something listed in there. Under the Windows-Panel, yes. Am I doing something wrong? „Attached Tabs“ works.

@Thot
Thank you, this is closed as duplicate of VB-93560, confirmed and updated to 6.0.Cheers, mib

@alexander-gorbovets: Yeah, I think this is the same thing that I've previously reported as VB-94054 and posted several bug reports on. I'm hoping that gets fixed soon as it means one of my main extensions is useless as any time I click a link in it might just crash the browser.
-
@iAN-CooG Thank you. I think I won't play with that feature.
-
@HalleAndert wait, that Chrome UI... It's Vivaldi?
-
@henriquepicanco: Vivaldi on the left hand side and Chrome on the right hand side.
-
Thank you and finally!
