I am still losing the URL from my signature note.

Thanks for the quick CVE-2023-2033 fix.
-
@matsbtegner: It is actually before some of our rivals got that fix into their stable version.
EDIT: Ok, I just noticed that Brave and Edge did actually update before this post, though we are still waiting for Opera.
-
@Ruarí Chrome Desktop Stable 112.0.5615.121 is still rolling out...

We're always waiting for Opera

Vivaldi has no rivals. Not one of those other browsers has a built-in email client.

Not to mention the number of options Vivaldi has.

Thank you!

This is very first Vivaldi snapshot which is broken for me. The complete application content is only partially visible on the very top when I maximize the window. Under the status bar is a huge blank area. I work with an disabled Tab Bar and use only the Windows Panel on the left side. When I close and reopen the panel Vivaldi returns to normal state. But when I click on any link and as long as Vivaldi loads content the unusable state returns.
Using Windows 10, 64bit Vivaldi

@joachim-pfaff: Uninstalled the latest snapshot and using previous version and everything is fine now. I'll try to investigate the problems with the latest snapshot and the exact circumstances which triggered the error.
-
It is still crashing at dropping down the Help menu.
-
Update: The bug is related to the disabled Tab Bar. When I work with enabled Tab Bar everything works as expected.
-
@joachim-pfaff I could not reproduce this with a horizontal menu bar. Are you using the Button menu? (I removed the help menu from mine).
-
Update 2: The disabled Tab Bars position must be configured to be on the left or the right side.
-
@Ruarí The Tab Position page on the Welcome tour could use a bit of colour, like the Choose a Theme page.
-
The undocked dev tools bug is still not fixed. It's a regression since version 5.8. I hope this will be fixed soon. Cheers

Update 3: It is neccessary that you open enough tabs to enable the scrollbar on the tab bar.
-
Update 4: It looks like that you need to have at least one tab stack. The error produces more 'blank space' when you have a lot of tabs and work with most recent tabs which are next to the bottom of the pane.

@pesala: Yes, I use the Button Menu, this seems to be now the default for new Vivaldi installs.
But it makes no difference which menu type I use.
