A few questions
-
Hello, I'm an opera 12 user and I'm interested in using Vivaldi. I have tried using the browser for a while but I haven't been able to find and workarounds for the following issues: 1. Is it possible to assign shortcut keys to the speed dial pages? Opera used to have ctrl 1 - 9 for the first 9 pages and it was very handy. 2. When you open a new page a "bar" with the loading stats (like page size, etc) appears on top of the address bar. Is it possible to move that "bar" on the bottom of the page? (You are able to change that in Opera). 3. When you select the option to story session cookies only, is it possible to add some sites as expections? For example I have to always save the cookies for 3 sites permanently and use save cookies per session for the rest of the sites.

Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions.
I'm afraid I wasn't very clear about the 2nd question. I don't want to move the entire address bar on the bottom. Only the page load stats bar. I'm attaching an image of how it looks in Opera.
The address bar remains at the top and a new page load stats bar appears when loading a page at the bottom. The (3) solution worked great.
Thank you for your time.

You are asking for showing page load status in the status bar, rather than the address bar.
To request such an option, you can file a feature request at https://vivaldi.com/bugreport.html

If I'm not mistaken the above link is for bug reports. Would it be alright to file a feature request through the bug report form? Also is ther any way, or are there any plans, to give the downloads' panel it's own page like opera?

Yes, the bugreport page is also for requesting features. I don't know if there will be a direct option or control to access the downloads page. I suppose so. In the meantime, vivaldi://downloads takes you to that page, and you can even bookmark it.

Thank you very much. The vivaldi://downloads page works very well and it was what I was looking for.
Do you know if there is an option to customize it to make it a little more compact?
I don't mind if I have to use advanced options or html/css in order to do that. (I'm familiar with html, css etc)I will also go ahead and use the bug report form to ask for the feature.

I don't speak CSS. Someone else may be able to speak to that. However, that page is not a Vivaldi page but rather a Chromium page, so trying to tinker with it may be a bit fraught.
