Workspaces – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 2970.3

@ruarí recommendation is to implement some system to reorganize the workspaces (preferably by dragging them in the windows panel or in the tab stack drop down)

Are there any plans to add this to sync? I might be in the minority of users who'd like my open tabs (and workspaces) to follow me around (work<>home).

@otto I use Tab Session Manager for all my tabs, but it does not recover the Workspaces. All we need is for the sessions to be both saved and opened again (which currently fails to work), plus downloads to fully complete, then I will be 100% happy with this fantastic browser.

Hi, what do you meant with Save/Open sessions does not work, is working fine here.
I have one saved session and one auto saved, I can open them always.

@mib2berlin Well not working for me. I have saved three sessions, but when I try to open them I get the message 'No Saved Sessions'.

I am running the snapshot as a portable on a second SSD on my PC running Windows 10.

Can you please describe how you viewed your sessions in the 'system dashboard', Not sure how to do this (fairly new to Vivaldi) - thanks

NP, open vivaldi://experiments and enable it:

You have to add the panel icon, right click on a panel icon Edit > Customize and move the session icon to the panel bar.

@mib2berlin Thanks. Now I can see the sessions I saved.

I tested a saved session to see if it opened correctly. All my pinned tabs were fine, plus the workspaces, but it also duplicated the workspaces with the homepage it each workspace! (I use Google as the homepage). So I would say it needs a bit more work in this area. (Unless there someone can explain what is going on).

Hardware acceleration unavailable on a macbook pro, m1 pro. Works fine in 5.7.

An error occurs at startup and the GPU Internals item becomes Disabled unintentionally

Check the next change logs for the report.

@g4uol: Ideally, I'd prefer a seamless experience in the background. I wish there were options in the sync settings to synchronise workspaces (and web panels).
