Need help with some behavior changes
-
Hi there,
I'm looking for a little help as a couple features have changed their behavior on my system and I'm not sure how to roll them back.
first: I cannot drag new tabs off of the existing window to open a new window. They just re-attach to the existing window. I use this method of opening new windows constantly, it's super convenient and it's dismaying that it's not working. This still works on my laptop which is on a different build of vivaldi (the one that has the red icon, my desktop that it is not working on has the black icon, I might try switching versions to see if that helps)
Second: Full screen behavior. I like to watch videos (from youtube, primarily) in full window - and normally I would achieve this by hitting the full screen prompt in whatever video I'm watching, then hitting F11 to exit full screen. This would keep the video at the full original window size, however it no longer seems to work. I don't know that this is vivaldi specific, as I can't replicate the behavior on any other browser I have, so maybe something in windows changed F11 behavior (I'm not even sure it was supposed to work that way, but I liked that it did).
Build info - if it's helpful:
Vivaldi 5.8.2968.2 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Revision 94accf7762d661c9b688d1b2cdc6b6badcf41c63
OS Windows 10 Version 22H2 (Build 19045.2728) -
@Beltbuckle I can confirm the issue.
Please report issue to Vivaldi bug tracker. Once that is done, share the bug number (beginning with VB-). Thanks for helping us making Vivaldi better.
