@enmanueljordan That is a known issue with Vivaldi where some extensions do not work with shortcuts.

Which ones fail? Any special you want to run?

You need to set the shortcut to Global, not in VIvaldi.
But be careful that an extension shortcut will override another apps shortcut.

@quivenda Setting to Global is a very lousy workaround. This approach causes Vivaldi to override the shortcut settings of all other programs.

Ideally, there should be support for extension shortcuts or at the very least, an option to prioritize either Vivaldi's shortcuts or those of its extensions.

Setting the shortcut to Global isn't a solution for me because it creates conflicts. I can't seem to find a bug report to add my info to, so I'll add my vote here for getting this looked at. It is a significant annoyance that has kept me from using Vivaldi full time. I don't want to seem negative because Vivaldi is an excellent browser otherwise and this seems like such a strange oversight.

@browzin It seems that it is fixed in the snapshots. Should be in next stable.

@solidsnake that's great news. Thanks for the heads up!
