Account lock

My email{ksims} retrieval suddenly started failing on 2/25 around 6:30pm EST. Though I had been able to access it successfully all day. It continually prompted to enter the password in both my Outlook as well as my Android mail client. I attempted to log in through the browser but, was informed that the account was locked. I thought I might be able to reset the password to unlock the account but, with the account locked, no password reset is possible.
Looking through the help pages, the suggestion was to open a help request or open a forum entry for assistance. As I was unable to log into my account, I had to create a new account to compose this request.
How can I get my account unlocked?

@ksims1 The community canβt tell you why your account was locked. Contacting support is the better option in this case.

This post was also a recommendation from the help pages as they surmised the support team might see this and be able to help sooner than later. -
I have exactly the same problem on the same day. Support does not respond for the third day.
