Just received it. Thank you.

Nice, a evening release to tinker with
[UI] Permission dialog pops up when Geolocation is Blocked or Denied (VB-95184)
I thought it was an issue with the dialog popping up every time if location was allowed ? I block Geolocation globally and I've never seen anything like that unless location is explicitly allowed.
EDIT: I can confirm that the "Website X is accessing your location" popup no longer appears if location is allowed
-
@Pathduck Geolocation doesn't work here, but it's not a Vivaldi problem. When the cable co was making upgrades to the network last August, during that day the service was on and off. And since then, geolocation has showed me in three different U.S. states!
I just turned it off to see what happens.
-
@edwardp Some sites try to guess your location based off your IP, which is usually completely off, it just might show what city you're in.
I just keep location off, I have a stationary machine, I know where it is
-
The cable co includes the U.S. state in the hostname for the IP address. If the IP address is run through nslookup, the current hostname shows a neighboring state, not where I actually am located and it's been like that since August.
