loading problem

  • Vivaldi Browser doesn't open OneDrive properly. The website loads it's main interface then it doesn't load the parent folders. it shows Microsoft's popular modern loading dots forever. Is there a solution to this problem? P.S. The website works like a charm on Google Chrome.

  • Here works well.
    Vivaldi version, windows version, user agent, what extension do you have?

  • Hello,
    I'm facing the same issue on MAC.
    Once trying to access Office 365 OneDrive browser loads the structure and list of folders but when trying to access some of the folders it doesn't work and it takes significant time when it's accessible.
    It works properly and seamlessly in the Chrome browser.
    Unfortunately this behaviour is "no go" for me :-(

    I'm using following version:

    Vivaldi 1.5.658.56 (Stable channel) (64-bit)
    Revision ed651c97177b2ac846b27f62bb8efed6dac0f90b
    OS Mac OS X
    JavaScript V8 5.4.500.41
    User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/54.0.2840.100 Safari/537.36 Vivaldi/1.5.658.56

    Please advise.

  • Any update/advise on this please? Thank You

    @petr.mahdal Here it works fine, but I'm on Windows and I'm not sure whether it makes the difference in this case... At least, I'm unable to reproduce your problems with OneDrive on my PC. Here's what I usually recommend to people when they're dealing with issues on websites that work correctly for others (see if any of this helps you):

    1. Force reload the page and all of its contents including scripts, styles and images (by default: press [CTRL] + [SHIFT] + [R] or [CTRL] + [F5]);
    2. Open the page in Private Window (by default: press [CTRL] + [SHIFT] + [N] to launch a new Private Window or select Menu > File > New Private Window). If the page works properly in Private Window, then go to step 4.
    3. Disable all extensions (if this resolves your issue, then try enabling them one by one to check which one is causing the trouble);
    4. Clear browsing data and restart the browser if necessary;
    5. Refresh your profile;
    6. Try another instance of Vivaldi to check if the issue occurs there too - preferably the latest Snapshot (you can download it from here). Don't update your current Vivaldi! Install new instance as "standalone", so that it doesn't interfere with your current installation. You can easily get rid of it later by removing the folder where it was installed.

    Note that there are wide spread login issues to all Microsoft services since yesterday. So this may be an MS issue and not Vivaldi !
