Without cross platforms sync no new Vivaldi version will be used

Hi, without having a cross platform between computer (linux) and smartphone/tablet (android) I will not use Vivaldi. And this even there are some new versions. The sync between used platforms is needed to work correctly. Sincerely thanks.

Sync is being worked on hard, and is at the top of their priorities. In the meantime, I suspect the millions of people who are using Vivaldi will continue to do so, and will be patient while the browser is finished. We will also wait for email and things like customizable mouse gestures, etc.
I wonder what makes people think that sync is something you can just flip a switch and turn it on, or wave a wand and suddenly it is working? It's a fairly massive undertaking. From what I've seen with people trying to add sync to browser over the course of the years, and sometimes badly botching it, it would not surprise me if sync all by itself were nearly as big a project as the entire browser.

Hi,

If your problem is urgent and meant mainly to sync with a smartphone, just use an extension to do it.
Say Dolphin browser has an extension that works really well on vivaldi, but there are many other solutions
A native solution will be surely better, but keep in mind that there isn't any mobile vivaldi (yet) so (I guess) the native solution will be aimed mainly to sync different vivaldi instances together, I have no idea about the projects for mobile sync, I don't know if a sync tool app/extension for mobiles is already evaluated.
We will see.
