Vivaldi is not currently supported by ESET (and other anti-malware solutions, such as new Microsoft Defender) on android due to the "lack of public API" (as per ESET's support answer).
Is there a possibility of implementing it?

I posted a while back on two Anti-Malware apps that protect the Vivaldi mobile browser and also have functional web filtering: Sophos Intercept X and Avira Pro.

I have no connection with either other than being a Vivaldi user.

Sophos has excellent detection rates as does Avira. However Sophos is entirely free with no ads while Avira is a paid antivirus. I pleaded with Bitdefender to add Vivaldi to their browser lists (which include Puffin and Dolphin!), but received no response. It came down to using one their covered browsers, so I looked elsewhere for an antivirus.

Subsequently, while trying various AV apps I came across Sophos and Avira.

I hope this may help until an API is issued
