Ctrl-H for History used to locate the cursor in the search box until about 6 months ago. Please could you put it back how it was in the next update. I hate having to use the mouse as part of initiating my History search, when I used to be able to just press Ctrl-H and start typing what I'm looking for.

@PeterinScotland It still works for me on both the latest Stable and latest Snapshot.

I think there are some issues here, depending on what display option is chosen and also if there's actually any history for a given period.

              Video: https://ttm.sh/0CY.mp4

Notice if I select Month then focus is no longer in the search box when opened.

If history is cleared the search box will not be active, but that's kind of an edge case and as intended.

@Pathduck said in Ctrl-H for History no longer locates cursor in search box:

Notice if I select Month then focus is no longer in the search box when opened.

                Confirmed.

Ok, thank you for this. I had "Month" selected. I have changed to "List" and it's fine. It works correctly in "Day" and "Week" too. It's only in "Month" that it has a different behaviour.

@Pesala , I can't test this, because I only save the History for the current month by settings.

@Catweazle Me too, I save history only for the session. However, if you select Month in the History Tab, then close and reopen it, you can see the bug.

Issue was brought up a few months ago, and was found to be only affecting if history is set to Monthly.

I lodged a bug report about it back then, but seems nothing has changed since then.

@Pathduck Malwarebytes doesn't like the idea of the website ttm.sh , giving the reason "Trojan"!

@PeterinScotland Well, Malwarebytes is being silly, it's just an MP4 video. It should block downloads depending on content and not outright block entire domains 😂

Oh well, it's just a short vid showing the issue.

That's right, not for us ordinary plebs.

As I recall when i submitted it I basically wrote, "search box should be in focus when opening history. If set to day/week it works, if set to month it doesn't. Month should work the same as day/week".
