Unable to run "http://speedtest.xfinity.com". Says I don't have Java Script Installed. I do, Ver 9.

  • I installed the Vivaldi browser this evening and it is working okay. It's the 64 bit version. Everything works okay except my Xfinity Speed Test. Although I have installed Flash Version 9 and yet it still does not recognize it. Is this speed test running normally for other Xfinity Speed Test users?

  • I'm not an Xfinity customer, but their speed test website works fine (and correctly) for my Vivaldi 1.1.453.43 (Developer Build) (32-bit) installation using my DSL connection. Are you using an ad-block extension of any kind, since some HTML speed-test sites have issues with ad-blockers interfering with their JavaScript?

  • If you have a 32bit Chrome installed it will not detect a flash player, download Chrome 64 bit and then it ll work. Or download directly from here https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/?fpchrome

  • I am not using any ad blockers with the Vivaldi browser, although I am using Ublock Orig with my Firefox browser and even there, it does not interfere with http://speedtest.xfinity.com. Even the Ookla Speedtest will not run unless I use their Beta.

  • Works fine here, download the 32bit Vivaldi and try again.
