Vivaldi and Windows 10 Insider Preview Builds
I just got updated to Windows 10 Insider Preview 14328. Vivaldi is broken. The prcesses load, according to Task Manager, but the interface does not come up. Just wanted to let you know. I am running an HP-C505t with 16GB RAM, i5 Processor, NVidia graphics card, Intel GB Ethernet, on my 240GN Samsung EVO Pro SSD.
Yes, that Insider is a Windows with pre-beta status. It has many issues not only with Vivaldi. But thanks you have a glimpse on it.
I'm sorry, but currently we cant test all pre-beta OS with Vivaldi internally. Noch enough time and other resources.
The page linked below provides a temporary fix (albeit with reduced security). Just go to the heading labelled Vivaldi Not Starting Fix (Windows 10).
It's not a long-term fix, obviously, because it involves running Vivaldi without sandboxing it. However, I've confirmed that it works on builds 14316 and 14328. I provided a comment on the Windows Feedback Hub, so at least someone over at Microsoft is aware of the issue.
Never had a single problem with Vivaldi on fast ring builds nor on Server 2016 tp4/or 5
The only versioning problem I'm aware of was about the released TH2 (not fast ring build), and affected a minority of embedded videos, and was fixed a couple of months ago.
Is better if you rename your older profile I believe.
