How to open a folder of bookmarks, in order, first one focused
I've got Vivaldi doing almost what I want, but can't figure out the last bit.
I have a folder of bookmarks. I middle-click the folder itself and it opens all of them in background tabs in their folder order. But it doesn't focus the first bookmark and I have to manually select it. How can I make Vivaldi do that last bit -- Give focus to the first bookmark?
Lest you think I'm being persnickety it works that way in Firefox, which I like. But I like Vivaldi's smaller memory footprint so I'm evaluating it.
And while we're on the subject of bookmarks... Is there no way to sort folders and / or the bookmarks in them? Where am I overlooking it?
Vivaldi 5.4.2753.51 on Windows 11 21H2 (Build 22000.978)
The sort feature is on top of the bookmarks tree in the panel.
Does the sort apply to the currently selected branch only (recursively or not?) or to the entire bookmarks tree? I'm asking because I don't want to screw up my entire bookmarks tree. It's sorted manually at a high level, but alpha further down.
@lphilpot The sort order is temporary. If you switch back to Manually, it will revert to your previous order.
If the first tab gained focus, it would no longer be in the background. Try Open in New Tab.
