How to Show Button Bar of Side Panel Permanently?
-
This was previously the case. I pressed something on my keyboard and now the side panel is collapsed to the small arrow. I can open it and close it fine.
But I want to permanently show the button bar of the side panel, for being able to quickly open the target panel with one click.
I didn't found anything in the settings, nor via web search, nor via forum search here. But I am sure it was possible before!
Any hints/help/pity?

@nsk7even F4
Hint: you find keyboard shortcuts list with Ctrl+F1.

@DoctorG thanks, I thought so too when seeing this hotkey in the settings - but F4 toggles the side panel from collapsed to fully visible. The same effect like clicking on the small arrow bar.
But this is not what I want to achieve - I want to permanently show the panel button bar. -
@nsk7even Hitting once F4, then it shows the bar at the left. That is enough.
Untick in Settings โ Panel โ Show Panel Toggle if that is not needed.

@DoctorG previously it didn't collapsed to the small vertical bar with only the arrow left - it collapsed to a bar where all the icons remained visible. How to achieve this?

I got it back to as it was working before!
This is a little bit weird to reproduce. I don't want to try again, as I don't want to risk it not working again ...The steps were approx. like this:
- Disable "Show panel toggle"
- Disable "Floating panel"
- Show panel with the help of F4
- Press on the active icon of the panel
--> now the panel collapses to the icon bar - Enable "Floating panel"
- Enable "Show panel toggle"
I don't know if the mentioned panel options need to be disabled temporarily.
Now I am able again to just click on the panel icon of where I want to open the panel - no step in between!
