CalDav "Authentication error"
-
Hi,
I'm running self-hosted calendarserver and currently using native Calendar app in Mac OSx.
I've found out that Vivaldi supports caldav and tried to give it a shot.
Upon setting up new calendar I'm getting "Authentication error".
My credentials are fine because I can use them in calendar.app on osx and I can login into web admin of calendarserver.
I used following format of url:
https://calendarserver.com:port/calendars/uids/uid_number/
Has anyone successfully connected to such calendar server?
Is there any way to find out (log file?) what kind of string is sent to calendar server so i can debug the issue?

I'm experiencing a similar error using the Davis (https://github.com/tchapi/davis) caldav server. I think the problem is that the server is expecting basic authentication and the Vivaldi caldav client is only offering digest authentication. Given that Davis discontinued digest support almost a year ago (on the assumption that all modern clients would support basic), it would be awesome if Vivaldi could be updated to support basic authentication.

UPDATE -- looks like the problem was not basic vs digest authentication. I think it has something to do with my work VPN proxying HTTPS connections. I can successfully connect to my caldav server if I do so via my home LAN. But if I'm outside the LAN and using my work VPN then I get the authentication error.
